A new chemo drug is to be offered to children as young as ten who truly believe they have cancer.
The drugs may affect brain or bone development but not enough research exists to say for sure.
The children will have chemo for two years then may - or may not - be followed up to find out if it benefited them or not.
Children who have undertaken this chemo previously (mostly gay and/or autistic) have never been followed up.
