The State Minister for Internal Affairs, retired Maj. Gen. Kahinda Otafiire, has asked the Director of CID, Maj. Gen. @Tom_Magambo, to take leave and mourn his son, Timothy Muganzi Magambo, during a mass held in Mbuya. Otafiire noted that Magambo has not had any rest and is currently handling a special assignment that requires his direct involvement. He described him as a dedicated officer who has consistently put duty above self.

20 years of a brand that has consistently stayed true to creating memorable moments for Ugandans.
Congratulations, @ntvuganda 👏🏽
Proud to be associated.
What an evening it has been as we celebrated @ntvuganda for a remarkable 20 years. The flow of events was a master class 👌
I recall those nights we would eagerly wait for Second Chance to air & how it changed fashion for ladies in UG then!!
Here's to the future #NTVAt20
“The media has had to fight for its space. NTV are 5-star generals in this fight.”
Justice Minister Norbert Mao praises NTV Uganda for staying relevant, financially viable and editorially independent in a changing media environment. #NTVAt20
Celebrating 20 years of @ntvuganda . The liberalisation of the broadcasting sector by Government in 1992 that saw the opening up of airwaves to private TV and radio stations giving Ugandans a diverse menu beyond UTV and Radio Uganda, was perhaps one of the most bold policies in our media history.
The more the TV and radio channels, the better the options and diversity of views, news and opinions-- a key ingredient for a democracy.
But having more TV and radio stations alone is not sufficient. You can have more stations, but with fewer or similar voices moving from one station to another.
NTV has added a lot of good value to our journey of building a prosperous & democratic nation across its wide range of programmes.
