Together, we can end water scarcity in Adankolo.
One borehole = healthier children, less stress for mothers, and a happier community.
Please help me complete this project before my service ends.
Retweet, share with your contacts, and donate whatever you can.
How to donate
Bank: Palmpay, Account Number: 9069589420, Account Number: Ayeni Oluwapelumi. Rest assured, every single kobo donated will be faithfully spent on the borehole project. I will share regular updates and proof of expenses with the community and donors.
Thank you. 🙏
Every single naira counts:
₦5,000 can buy pipes
₦10,000 can help with labour
₦50,000 can move us closer to water
No amount is too small. Even ₦1,000 + a retweet can change lives here.
Total cost of project = ₦3,000,000
I’ve been reaching out, contributing personally, and receiving support from kind hearts so far. We’ve raised a ₦200,000 together — thank you to everyone who has given already 🙏 We still need ₦2,800,000 to bring clean water to Adankolo.
As my personal CDS project, I’m drilling a borehole for the community! The geophysical survey has already been done. The report shows the borehole needs to be 100–120 metres deep to get clean, reliable water year-round. This borehole will serve hundreds of families permanently.
Good day everyone 🙏 I am Bankole Elizabeth, a Corps Member serving in Adankolo Community, Lokoja, Kogi State. This community is experiencing serious water scarcity. During dry season, shallow wells dry up. Residents walk long distances in search of water. It’s heartbreaking.
Imagine waking up every day with no clean water to drink, cook, or bathe. That’s the reality for many families in Adankolo.
The situation gets worse every year. Children miss school, mothers fall sick, and the community
struggles.
I couldn’t just watch. So I decided to act.
