@DanielRegha Gender privileges will always exist no matter how much people complain, and nothing can be done about that cos we are not the same. Women have their privileges too that men do not have. These are just the peculiarities that come with belonging to any of the genders.
If Apostle Paul were to write letters again, I am 1000% sure he would have a lot to say to the modern Church, especially the attraction hubs and charismatics. And if Jesus were to visit, I am also sure He would flog a lot of people with longer koboko this time.
I prefer unsuspecting places. For instance, I was in a library yesterday, buried in my cumbersome material. Imagine meeting someone on a random day like that, when the last thing on your mind is a relationship. The naturalness of it, you see? That is more like it for me.
I am not really a fan of all these events that churches organise for singles when it comes to meeting a partner. The churches mean well, but I feel that meeting someone at such events can sometimes feel forced, and such connections may not stand the test of time.
Women come out every day to detail their specifications in a man, but the moment a man says he does not like women with a certain body type, or maybe did not like them initially, it becomes a national issue. Funny people.
The truth is that many people worship vessels and get emotional when their fav is involved. God doesnโt care about that. In fact, being insulted for His sake is a good thing, and there are rewards for that. But that is for His sake o. Any unbiblical statement, I cannot guarantee.
Persecution did not start today, though. People insulted Jesus. People insulted His apostles. I am not saying it is good to be insulting, but if someone insults a pastor, you should not be shocked. It is normal. Our dear Lord was also mocked. Let us not mix culture with truth.
And experiences like that are not unheard of. You only heard about his because he is a global voice who chose to reveal it. People actually have premonitions about people exiting before they actually exit this blue ball we call earth. It is not a strange concept.
Apostle Joshua Selman is not one to give such kinds of prophecies. For him to have done so, it means he was convicted to say it. There is absolutely nothing he has to gain personally from giving that prophecy.
When men of God say certain things, always look at them from a contextual standpoint and apply wisdom in your deciphering. Even Jesus Himself was metaphorical and hyperbolical in His verbalisations. Being a believer requires wisdom. It is not bread and tea.
You get to a point in life where you realise you need to be around strong men. Men who have seen it all, men who can encourage you, challenge you, and show you how to navigate the brutal waves of life. Every man needs men. You honestly cannot do this shit alone.
Let me AJS it, in case you didnโt catch it. Are we together now? I am saying you should not feel permanently bound to decisions you made with an earlier version of yourself. Growth can change your direction, redefine certain relationships, and make you pursue a different vision.
One thing I am learning about life is that you always have to start somewhere. But as you sail through, your eyes open. You understand yourself better and the things that align with you. Certain things begin to attract you. At that point, it is okay to make the necessary changes.
Or maybe we could, if there is some extremely advanced technology in the future. It makes me wonder how many things may be going on beyond Earth that we may never uncover throughout the entire existence of humanity. If you really think about these things, you can run mad.
Kepler-452b is such a mystery. Walk with me for a sec. Scientists say it may have life because of its similarities to Earth, but they cannot know for sure because it is about 1,400 light-years away. What this means is that, no human can ever reach there with current technology.
