@Teacherglitter Every time I got anywhere near your classroom I'm sure I got high on PVA glue fumes. As I was walking back from the hall with my class one child asked me what's that smell. I said don't worry it's just miss Eccles making masks. They didn't question any further as they knew you!
@Teacherglitter When I sat down with the children to talk about science at school today, the child selected from your class talked enthusiastically about making butter, hand prints and ice hands but what I loved most was the fact that she was able to explain scientifically what had happened
@Teacherglitter It was so wonderful to see the children engaged and enthusiastic whilst experimenting in science which was obviously coming from your passion. I could see the buzz and excitement I couldn't help but smile and think yes this is what we do It for! Scientists in action
@Teacherglitter Thank you for inviting me to these events where I have learnt so much. Attending these and working with you provided me with fresh perspectives which renewed my enthusiasm for this great job. Xxx
@Teacherglitter@matthaig1 It really is a wonderful book with so many deep messages. Every time I read it to my class itβs like Iβm reading it for the first time. I love the look on their faces and it works across so many year groups
@abeehkr If only I looked as composed as that at the start of term! Definitely channelling the second picture with only 3 days until back for the 8 weeker ππ
Had a fabulous night out not laughed so much in a long time with all my teaching mates. @abeehkr I keep telling @Teacherglitter that I work with someone famous: a real inspiration and totally bonkers too, love her.
Today I finished reading Sky Song @moontrug to my class and the gasps and giggles from the children as we read the last few chapters was a delight to hear. One child announced it was the best book ever. Thank you Abi for inspiring my writers.
@abeehkr Saw this and made me laugh out loud. I don't think Millie would be up for me teaching her algebra, she thinks she knows all she needs to know i.e. whose boss (her) πΈπΎ
@Teacherglitter@ljlittleson I loved the girl who stole an elephant too. Let me know what you think about the Titanic detective agency as would fit with our year 6 summer term topic of Titanic.
