Thankfully animal control was able to step in and humanely leash the porcupine out of the way and to safety.

I work for an animal shelter and our animal control officers were called out to a busy highway because a porcupine was in the way of traffic.

Both police and animal control showed up.

This innocent animal was doing no harm except being in the way of traffic....
