🚨 BREAKING: Rishi Sunak has approved the UK’s first new coal mine in 30 YEARS.
We’re in the middle of a climate emergency, what on earth is the government thinking?
Such a joyous photo! Being out on the streets a few times with @hackneygreens over the last few months has been such a pleasure and massive congratulations @alastairis & @Zoe4Hackney on your epic wins! 💚✅ #GreenParty#LocalElections2022
🎉An historic moment for Green politics in Hackney!
@Zoe4Hackney & @alastairis elected in Dalston & Hackney Downs - thanks to all who supported us during this campaign.
💚With a strong 2nd across Hackney in vote share, we're the real opposition here. Hackney's future is Green!
@SistersUncut Thanks to @SistersUncut for your continued efforts to make communities safer and envision brighter alternatives for living. If you are ever in need of someone with knowledge & experience of #RestorativeJustice, hmu!
when the bill is back in the @UKHouseofLords this Thursday, every vote will matter in one more step towards removing the current proposed amendments. Alternatives are possible that have far greater impacts on reoffending community cohesion #restorativejustice
Thank you to those in the @UKHouseofLords who have so far insisted on removing amendments to the #PCSCbill that criminalise noisy protests and push the #Police further towards authoritarianism and away from #restorativejustice
Looking forward to hearing updates from the @RJAPPG and also curious why @ElliotColburn has voted in favour proposed amendments to the #PCSCbill which push our police and courts towards more punitive measures? I’m interested in how he reconciles these positions.
Thank you to all those who attended today's Restorative Justice APPG meeting in Parliament and virtually for a fantastic update on the APPGs workstream led by @ElliotColburn

'The Refugee Convention... contains a single unitary definition of refugee... and defines a refugee solely according to their need for international protection'.
The Nationality and Borders Bill would create a 2-tier asylum system, denying support and security to refugees.
MPs in the @HouseofCommons today should remember this, and vote in alignment with what all people seeking safety in the UK need—the right to and certainty of citizenship, aid in UK waters and borders, freedom from criminalisation. #nopersonisillegal#PTSD#RefugeesWelcome
Now more than ever, we need to block proposed amendments to the #NationalityAndBordersBill to protect citizenship and the right to seek asylum in the UK.
People leaving conflict zones carry with them the emotional, psychological, financial and physical burden of stress which for many becomes chronic and manifests as PTSD, hypervigilance, cognitive difficulties, the list goes on. This often transfer to successive generations.
