@AmberSchmidtke Even the ICU numbers don’t represent what’s happening. I can’t find beds overnight in any local hospitals because there aren’t nurses. Floor patients also wait hours for beds in ERs. We are well over capacity.
@AmberSchmidtke I don’t know how these capacity numbers are calculated. In my ER, we have patients sitting for 12+ hours waiting on beds upstairs because there aren’t nurses to care for them. The problem is even more dire on night shift. We do not have beds to use.
@CarlosdelRio7 I made a map of places people can schedule vaccines based on the GA DPH list and I’m trying to get the word out. Several pharmacies are scheduling for those over 65 already! https://t.co/S8idWOhe16
@sclaudwhitehead@GovKemp@GaDPH I got tired of loved ones asking me how they could get their shot. So I made a map using GA DPH info on vaccine allocations. Maybe this will help. https://t.co/fB8xm506kZ
@bigpuppy2000 @AmberSchmidtke Yes, they’ve started scheduling for > 65 years old. For Clarke and Gwinett/Rockdale/Newton, residents get priority, but non-residents are able to schedule if appointments are available
Since info about vaccine availability is lacking in GA, I went through the @GaDPH list of places that requested vaccines and made a map of those that advertise having them. Thought some folks might be interested! https://t.co/S8idWOhe16
