You’re absolutely right — we should be able to shape our own future and build opportunities here at home, so people aren’t forced to keep pleading for a place in someone else’s country.

A lot of people had that same hope when your cousin was president. The idea was: if leadership gets it right, jobs grow, services improve, and the pressure to “japa” reduces. Instead we still see so many leaving because basic things like stable work, security, and infrastructure haven’t caught up yet.
