The lady my uncle wanted to marry told him just a month before their wedding that if he ever lost his job, she would leave the marriage.

My uncle later called off the wedding, but her family said she didn’t mean it and was just joking.

The funniest part is he refunded all his groomsmen the money they paid for wedding materials and told her to refund her aso ebi ladies too. The lady kept begging him, but he did not change his mind, and he said it was the best decision he has ever made.

I wish to draw the attention of the public to the matters regarding the Speakership race.
After wide consultations and deep introspection, and to maintain harmony and clarity in my beloved party, the @NRMOnline, I wish to categorically and unequivocally state that I will not be offering myself for the Speakership race of the 12th Parliament.
I am greatly indebted to H.E @KagutaMuseveni, my party, the @NRMOnline, and members of the 11th Parliament for giving me the opportunity to serve as Deputy Speaker and Speaker.
I am equally indebted to my family and friends for the solidarity and support they have extended to me over the last five years.
I pledge my total support to the candidates who will be endorsed by the President and the Party, and Implore all colleague MPs of the 12th Parliament to do the same.
I shall remain available to the service of my country as the party and the President may assign me.

This was not planned,i was minding my business,then I saw the nominations and I felt the spirit move me.

The spirit said: somebody has to be an adult.

So here we are, i am President now,interim,emergency, self-appointed basically the full package.

MY MANDATE (THERE IS ONLY ONE)

Restore sanity, that is it.

That is the whole manifesto. I did not need 47 bullet points and a campaign poster.

We will first figure out what UOX actually is, what it stands for,what a President here even does.

If, after serious review, the answer is "nothing important" we will shut the whole thing down and go home.

I will not hesitate. I have done it before in my mind.

To the youngings who were about to vote ,your time is coming. I promise.

But you cannot give someone a crown before you have even built the kingdom,that is not politics,that is theatre and i am not a theatre kid.

Once structure is in place, once we know this thing has real value ,I will step back, hand over power back to @Ugaman01 , and return to my regularly scheduled programme of not being President of things.

Let me be clear about what this is NOT: this is not ambition. I did not wake up wanting a title.

Titles are for people who need them,this is an intervention,a wellness check for the institution.

UOX is the patient. I am the doctor. I did not ask for this patient. But I am here now, and I have a clipboard.

IN SUMMARY

1. I am President now.

2. We will figure out if this Presidency means anything.

3. If it does , great. We build. Then I leave.

4. If it does not ,we dissolve it.

Together. Peacefully. With dignity. Unlike how I have taken power.
