Great to see the fierce-looking Platyrhinus resinosus so early - known as Cramp-ball Fungus Weevil.
Photographed on Cramp-ball Fungus, where the larvae develop.
Nationally Scarce but range increasing.
It has amazing camouflage, looking like bird droppings!
