Dolly Parton’s sister, Stella Parton, reveals that Dolly told her she’d allow her medical team to try experimental drugs on her in the hopes of helping others in the future, even if there was no hope for her:

It was revealed that Dolly Parton was secretly battling cancer but she didn't say anything and instead released this song as one of her last to raise funds for children with cancer. Even while she was sick she was still thinking about others. I’m absolutely devastated.
