TBH, Solana it's a mess, the entire dev experience :)

I deployed a program last night to create a CCTP and Wormhole bridge to MvX. Besides exceeding 300 KB in size, it also cost ~2.5 SOL in rent, and deploying with a Ledger is a huge pain, you have to sign a lot (better to use a hot wallet, then transfer the upgrade authority).

The whole concept of specifying every touched address in the transaction, with required signatures for complex contracts, and frontends building TXs overall, is a retard way of doing it, just to allow paralelization of processing better make everyone life worse, rather than abstracting this away at the protocol level the way MvX will do after Supernova...

@MultiversX has one of the easiest dev experiences, from sending a token to building and deploying a smart contract that's hard to exceed 100 KB even if you try (the entire XOXNO lending and marketplace SCs are under 100 KB each and costed me peanuts to deploy).

Cost optimization across Web3, including by staking providers and MultiversX itself is a normal and healthy business practice.

Kiln’s announcement to decommission support for several protocols, including MultiversX, fits into this broader context of operational focus and efficiency.

It’s also important to put scale into perspective.

At the time of their announcement, Kiln was operating less than 1% of total EGLD delegations (≈0.8%).

While relatively small in network share, we are grateful for Kiln’s contribution, just as we are grateful to every infrastructure provider and validator supporting the MultiversX network.

As is common in the industry, large staking providers often service institutional clients (exchanges, custodians, funds).

For competitive and security reasons, many of these delegations are managed directly by the providers and are not publicly disclosed, a standard but often misunderstood practice.

As part of the migration process, we have been in direct contact with the relevant institutional clients.

They have clearly confirmed that delegations previously operated via providers such as Kiln are being migrated to other providers within the ecosystem.
No amounts are being sold.

This redistribution increases participation for existing providers, strengthens decentralization, and reduces sell pressure linked to infrastructure operations.

Claims suggesting otherwise, such as interpreting undelegations (e.g. the referenced 388k EGLD transaction) as “funds exiting the network” are incorrect.

These movements represent operational reallocations.

Context matters. Accurate interpretation of on-chain data is essential for a healthy and well-informed ecosystem.
