The friendship between The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square and Morehouse College and Spelman College Glee Clubs deepened as the three choirs performed in a historic concert on Monday, September 9, 2024, in Atlanta, Georgia.
The choirs premiered “Songs for the People,” a collaboration between Kevin Johnson, music director of Spelman Glee Club and Mack Wilberg, music director of The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square.

@Kelsea_inChrist I’ve always liked to understand the Endowment as our sealing ceremony with the Savior. We literally bind ourselves to Jesus (and Him to us) for eternity. It’s a very beautiful day!
@RelevantQuest Naw. Adam & Eve were not “endowed” with shame. Lucifer taught them that. The animal skin/garment is the Name + Grace of Jesus that lovingly covers us after covenanting with Him (Law of O). Garments are all about Christ, not modesty per se—which is not mentioned in the temple.
