@headwandastan3@Elijaphobe_@positionses To clarify I shifted from 700 million to 600 because I accounted bohemian being in theatres for 2 months rather than the same time Michael was. I do like to listen to Madonna though. 80s and 90s music in general too
@headwandastan3@Elijaphobe_@positionses I say that because bad only started to decline after the media attacks started and I feel like if he was left alone it would have
@headwandastan3@Elijaphobe_@positionses In my opinion, if the media had left him alone, Bad would have beaten thriller in sales. 5 singles out of 9 went #1 on billboard, and he got snubbed off the Grammys, only winning 2 Grammys 2-3 years after release, one of them being a music video, not the song itself
@headwandastan3@Elijaphobe_@positionses Well Michael made, more than Madonna in music videos so he’s statistically the greatest music video artist. Both mj and Madonna are considered the best to the public, but only Michael statistically beats her in that department
@headwandastan3@Elijaphobe_@positionses Bad was on track to beat thrillers record until the media stepped in on his appearance and scrutinized him. He’s been attacked by the media who heavily influenced the general public from that day on
@headwandastan3@Elijaphobe_@positionses According to who? Michael made way more on music videos than Madonna LMAO. Just because some random said they liked Madonna more doesn’t mean anything. 500 million people each tuned in to watch the black or white music video premier.
@headwandastan3@Elijaphobe_@positionses Not when Bad was making more than thriller oversees and even in the us for a few months. Only to be sabotaged by the media for his looks. That’s consistency. The Beatles never had the scrutiny Michael had.
@headwandastan3@Elijaphobe_@positionses Is that it? Michael Jackson revolutionized music videos to the point where they weren’t even music videos, they were short films. He said it himself, music videos were nothing but slop on mtv, and he went out his way and pay millions by hand to make his own short films
@headwandastan3@Elijaphobe_@positionses I said 700 million because I was taking in account of bohemian rhapsody in theatres for 2 months. Obviously, Michael has not been in theatres for 2 months. Not even close yet. So I adjusted it to when they were out at the same time. 608.7 million for bohemian rhapsody
@headwandastan3@Elijaphobe_@positionses Why would I care the Beatles made an egregious amount of albums? I said Michael was consistent with albums ranging from 20 million to 70 million with thriller being the greatest selling album of all time thank you Michael
