Big Tech dominated earnings season:
The S&P 500's total market cap has surged +$1.75 trillion since Q2 earnings season began on July 13th.
The Technology sector alone accounts for +$1.39 trillion of that gain, or ~79% of the total.
Within tech, Microsoft, $MSFT, and Nvidia, $NVDA, added a combined +$1.42 trillion in market cap over this period.
By contrast, the other 71 stocks in the sector lost a combined -$22.3 billion.
Health Care added +$345.2 billion in value, followed by Financials at +$192.7 billion and Energy at +$174.7 billion.
On the other hand, Communication Services lost -$299.6 billion, followed by Utilities at -$88.5 billion and Industrials at -$67.3 billion.
Big Tech has never been bigger.
@CNBC Maybe you guys should take some of the money you’re using to pay writers to write these “stories” and put it toward your tech team to make your app actually work
@CNBC If anyone is considering subscribing to CNBC plus, I would highly recommend they don’t. The app is unusable. It freezes constantly and doesn’t work.
@matzy_@MLB That’s the great thing about dogs. If their humans are with them, they’re happy. It could be the 7th ring of hell and they’d be glad to be there with you: their best friend.
@seanhannity@RepRoKhanna@RoKhanna I have to ask, according to the FTC “Khanna made 4,753 trades with a total volume of $103 million in just the past year.” What in gods name are you doing making 5000 trades in 1 year? I know professional brokers who don’t do that volume. How do you have time to govern?
@j_chisholm3 All due respect, Jazz, it’s the mental errors. I’m fine if you want to wear a new matching cleats/chain combo and jaw off to the ump and go on a 6 month vacation, but you gotta play near perfect or it feels like that’s taking your focus away from playing clean baseball.
