BREAKING: Donald Trump's horrible week ends with a bang as Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron threatens him with jail time for his "blatant violation" of a gag order imposed in the $250 million New York fraud trial.

"Incendiary untruths can and have led to serious physical harm," said the judge, before asking Trump's shady lawyer to explain why he should not be punished or imprisoned.

Trump's attorney apologized on the ex-president's behalf and unconvincingly insisted that the violation was not intentional.

The violation itself was completely blatant. Engoron imposed the gag order originally after Trump blasted out a Truth Social post attacking his law clerk. He also ordered the post deleted.

Rather than delete it though, Trump left it up on his website https://t.co/ZPkWWj1CeO for over two weeks. Its continued — and illegal — survival was flagged by MeidasTouch and was eventually removed.

"Last night I learned the offending post was never removed from a website," said Judge Engoron.

"This is a blatant violation of the gag order. I made it clear failure to comply will result in serious sanctions," he went on. "It remained on the Donald J. Trump campaign site and in fact it has been on there for the past 17 days, [and] it was removed late last night after an email from this court."

Engoron said that he would take Trump's attorney's remarks “under advisement" but said that Trump “is still responsible for what appears on the site."

"I want to make clear that Mr. Trump is responsible for the large machine, even if it is a large machine," he said.

BREAKING: LOVE IT! MapQuest refused to label Lake Ontario as "Lake America" after Trump's asinine renaming stunt — and their app immediately surged to the #1 navigation app spot.

Standing up to fascists is really paying off...

“We took the same approach we did with the Gulf of Mexico: be part of the conversation, and give people an app that keeps the names they’re familiar with,” stated Doug Berger, the general manager of MapQuest. “Hundreds of thousands of people signaled to us this weekend that we got it right by downloading our app.”

The company announced on Thursday that it would not be bowing to Trump's executive order which directed the Interior Department to change the name. Once the public learned that MapQuest was drawing a line in the sand against this deeply unpopular White House, downloads for their iOS app skyrocketed. It shot up to the #4 overall position on the U.S. App Store’s Top Charts, not including video games. When video games are factored in, the app still clinched the #8 spot. In Canada’s App Store, it climbed up to #2 overall and #1 in navigation.

To add insult to MAGA injury, MapQuest also released a funny little tool that allows users to mockingly rename Lake Ontario to whatever silly name they want, and then share the image on social media. It provides people a way to troll Trump and his supporters by undermining his right to unilaterally change the name.

MapQuest's courage is especially welcome given the cowardly manner in which Google Maps immediately caved to Trump's order. That company promptly relabeled Lake Ontario to "Lake America" for users in the United States, resulting in outrage and even boycotts from formerly loyal customers. Clearly, the tech overlords at Google are more afraid of upsetting Trump than they are of alienating the American people. Now, they're paying the price for their spinelessness.

🚨BREAKING: An ICE/Border Patrol agent approached a U.S. citizen at a gas station, in Lake Worth, Florida, demanded his ID, and when the U.S. citizen asked why? …

The agent’s said, “Because you’re an immigrant.”

Except that is not how the Constitution works.

In the video, the U.S. citizen is standing at a gas station when an agent walks up and says, “Let me see your ID.”

The man asks a completely reasonable question, “Why?”

The agent responds, “Because you’re an immigrant.”

And before the man has even been identified, the agents grab his hands and puts him in handcuffs.

People standing around immediately start questioning what is happening…asking the agents how they can arrest someone when they haven’t even identified who he is…

But the agents ignore them and walk the man to their vehicle.

The Fourth Amendment protects people from unreasonable searches and seizures. The Supreme Court has held that roving Border Patrol agents need reasonable suspicion, based on specific circumstances, to stop someone and question them about immigration status. And apparent ethnicity, by itself, is not enough.

So, what was the actual legal basis for demanding this man show his ID?

Because if the answer is literally… “because you’re an immigrant,” that should piss off every American.

You should not have to prove you’re a U.S. citizen before the government decides it has the right to put you in handcuffs.

And this is just another reminder that constitutional rights don’t mean anything if federal agents can violate them, over and over again, with no accountability.
