If you find any of my work on employment issues for workers and trade union issues helpful, then any donations are gratefully received. But, whether you can or support or not (I know many cannot), thanks for reading - hope some of it's useful. https://t.co/orJW7Mge2E
TSSA staff will strike on 15 days in June and July. Come to our briefing 6pm Saturday at the Marriott Hotel to hear the TRUTH about our dispute from our representatives.
Firefighting is a carcinogenic occupation. The science knows it, the UN knows it - it’s about time the politicians & fire chiefs responsible for UKFRS took action to protect their workforce from occupational cancers.
They want to save money.
We want to save lives.

I see GMB are doing here what GMB often do, sublimating pre-existing organisation under 'employer granted' recognition. So much for principled trade unionism. It is a Boots v PDA lite strategy.
On Friday, just days before the strikes, Deliveroo contacted the organisers delegitimising their demands. They claim to offer “attractive earnings” & that pay has in fact increased. Last week’s huge strike clearly points to the opposite. Actions speak louder than words!
It's great that @pcs_union is challenging the Minimum Service legislation by way of Judicial Review, and especially pleased this is one of Mark Serwotka's last acts.
PCS have been very good recently on public law challenges but I do wish they would publish the grounds as well.
