Today’s manuscript has plenty of baking recipes from 1720 that we’re keen on trying. This one is for calves foot pudding and calling for “puft paste”. Hopefully they laminated their butter properly, @BritishBakeOff. 😉

In addition to transcription, we'll be having a printing press workshop at 2pm using a Kelsey Excelsior Press, ink made with a recipe from ~1640 (GranvilleVA 430, 42), and homemade paper. We'll call it the EMPS version of a #throwbackthursday
