ALSO!! got the drum skin professionally cleaned, and aside from the fact the cleaning made like a 100000 tiny scratches on it the smell is gone!! A bears in trees drum skin *can* survive a house fire (still looking into a shadow box to keep it safer for the future though)

Update: got a second opinion and realistically im gonna have to throw everything away, they will not be able to get rid of the smoke smell :(( rest in peace bears in trees signed drum skin, you were loved and will be missed

touring i see blue was always a dream of ours. to be able to do it on our own terms, with you? that meant everything.

our voices are shot. our eyes are bleary. the only thing left to do...

is to start writing our third debut studio album.

Okay i did not expect this to reach as many people as it did :0 I'm going to get the drum skin professionally cleaned and then seal it in a shadow box, hopefully I can salvage it that way! Thanks for all the tips! :)) I really am praying I won't have to get rid of it

@postiveparxie I'm going to get it professionally cleaned, so hopefully that will get rid of enough smoke smell that afterwards i can contain it in a shadow box!

@alesbianronance @f0rmlessblob Dont worry, its not a stupid question at all! If i cant contain the smoke smell, putting it in a clean room will once again spread smoke smell, and I know at least for me living in a room with constant smoke smell isn't doable
