Goo Youngmin, Acting Vice Minister of the Ministry of Intellectual Property (MOIP), held a high-level meeting with Ahmed Almarshadi, President of the Gulf Cooperation Council Patent Office (GCCPO), at the GCCPO conference room in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Sunday, February 1.

During the meeting, the two institutions agreed to conclude a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on comprehensive cooperation in the field of intellectual property within this year.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed policy cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), finance, and intellectual property protection, as well as measures for examiner training and cooperation in trial and appeal procedures.
