A 12-year-old boy was abandoned on a sidewalk after ICE agents in Waltham, MA arrested the adult he was with.

They drove off and left him there—like garbage. Waltham Councilor Colleen Bradley-MacArthur witnessed it and tried to intervene. Instead of responding, ICE agents filmed the volunteers helping the boy and drove onto the sidewalk to intimidate her.

They refused to identify themselves, ignored legal observers, and broke every norm of decency. The child got home safely only because brave volunteers stepped in.

This isn’t enforcement—it’s cruelty, plain and simple. It’s what authoritarianism looks like.

The firms that have caved pride themselves on their ability to recruit top law students from top schools. Wait until they find out that those students a) have choices and can work where they want and b) they're not interested in working for a firm that can't stand up to Trump. And then there are the associates who realize they're working for a firm that doesn't reflect their values. The exodus has already started.
