For real. Ryan Clark has been amazing on-air in covering Damar Hamlin for ESPN. It’s an impossible situation for any broadcaster, let alone a former player.
I still really like what I do, and I hope you do too.
Despite the stress, I know the collective work of public educators positively impacts the lives of students, uplifts families, and builds communities.
Let’s start this week believing in ourselves, world changers.
"Things that keep talented people from fulfilling their potential:
- Trying to please everyone
- Imitating the desires of others
- Chasing status without questioning why
- Playing superhero and trying to do it all alone
- Dividing your attention"

Dr. Biden earned her degrees through hard work and pure grit. She is an inspiration to me, to her students, and to Americans across this country. This story would never have been written about a man.
I am a profoundly different person today than I was a decade ago.
Moral of the story, we must believe in the capacity for others to grow in light of new experiences, insights, and information. Meet them with curiosity and support, not condemnation and disdain.
"Be "selectively ignorant."
Ignore topics that drain your attention.
Unfollow people that drain your energy.
Abandon projects that drain your time.
Do not keep up with it all. The more selectively ignorant you become, the more broadly knowledgable you can be."

Happy Principal’s Month to this girl! Here she is doing what she does best- stepping in, figuring it out, and having lots of fun along the way. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to learn from your crazy self! https://t.co/BV24jxHFha
