Has law enforcement ever confirmed these were from his legit account? I've sure never seen it. Haven't even seen a news agency ALLEGE they're confirmed.

And to be clear, I believe his conviction is correct ... but if these photos are not proven legit, it is not appropriate to be spreading them as such.

That isn't correct. True he was not supposed to be in the tent of an opposing team, but he WAS competing that day as a fill in on a relay team. His coach testified that he was there with their team but that he should have been with his teammates warming up in another area at the time.
