Here's one take: @kpeltonWBB calls Ezi Magbegor's omission arguably "the most egregious omission ever from the All-Star Game," pointing out she's on pace to record more wins above replacement player by his metric than any player not chosen for an ASG.

Iowa-LSU's average 12.3 million viewers are more than:
• Every women's college basketball game ever
• Every ESPN college basketball game ever
• Every MLB game last season
• Every NHL game last season
• Every MLS game last season
• Every NBA game last season except one
• Every CFB regular season game last season except one
The WNBA averages more national broadcast viewers than NHL (by more than a quarter million).
Despite that, ESPN will pay the WNBA $33 million in their final year for broadcast rights, while the NHL gets $625 million PER YEAR.

@jessielyneeeeee Check if you’re close to a US Military base and then find their towny bar or try to download the armed forces network app on your phone and see if they’ll let you stream it (from a nice FSU fan 😜)
Instead of celebrating Florida State’s resilience, an elite defense and the fact that they beat everyone on their schedule (including two SEC teams, one with the likely Heisman Trophy winner) … the selection committee penalized them. I can’t get over it.
One thought re: FSU and penalizing a team for a key injury: It incentivizes teams to lie about injuries and/or rush players back from injuries before they’re ready.
That is so wrong.
…yesterday FSU had more offensive yards with their 3rd string QB than Michigan had with their starter…but the loss of FSU QB means their offense can’t compete? That logic doesn’t work
