Her visa was revoked by USA for "advocating terrorism" after she joined pro-Hamas protests at the university. So, she self-deported to India to avoid a military deportation flight.
Her parents sent her abroad so she could study and make something of herself, but she couldn't resist the urge to get involved in pointless activism. She lost her visa and her course.
The blessing in disguise for her is that she can join Jadavpur or JNU here and do plenty of pro-Hamas activism. No one will bother. Everything is allowed here.

Hindu girls are not safe in the streets!
In #Tamluk town, Muslim youths in large numbers gather in the markets. They regularly tease and taunt Hindu women and girls.
But, yesterday, on the night of Holi, when some Hindu men protested, Muslim youths attacked them, beating them brutally.
A Hindu woman alleged, “By raising ‘Allahu Akbar’ and ‘Joy Bangla’ slogans, they attacked us. We can't come to the market. We can't stand in the market for a few minutes. They always target Hindu women and girls.”
Meanwhile, the Police reached the spot and promised to arrest those youths.
