TWO YEARS! This second year wasn’t the same whirlwind as my first year. I’ve spent most of it in either Minnesota or Texas at a much slower pace, which was needed. Head down memory lane with me and read about what’s next at https://t.co/lnntAsvuFM
I had a couple of days this week between apartment rentals in Austin, so I drove down to San Antonio and stayed at a hotel a block from the Alamo and two blocks from The San Antonio River Walk. Read all about it at https://t.co/Ev6PiVuVe4
It’s bluebonnet season here in Texas! On Wednesday I drove about an hour out of Austin to the Muleshoe Bend Recreation Area where I found fields and fields of bluebonnets. Read all about it at https://t.co/qVnX8tIlpm
Happy Easter! I attended a beautiful service this morning at St. Martin's Lutheran in downtown Austin, with an amazing organ, full brass band, breathtaking choir, and a procession of bell banners during the opening hymn which gave me goosebumps.
Last week I volunteered for the @sxsw Film & TV Festival, managing lines, taking tickets, answering questions, and keeping people away from the red carpets. I also got up close to many, many celebrities. Hello, Ryan Gosling! Read all about it at https://t.co/zJRAdCqIc4
I've unpacked my western wear and I'm heading on the road again, ya'll. After spending the holidays and then some in Saint Paul, I leave tomorrow for two months in the land of BBQ and live music - Austin, Texas. It will be my first repeat destination. Yeehaw! 🤠
Lake Phalen was named after Edward Phelan, accused of Saint Paul’s first murder. (His name was spelled variously and as a result, the lake is Phalen and not Phelan.) #FoundFacts https://t.co/cMbyocc526
I’m back in Minnesota for the rest of the year! After enjoying a peaceful month in coastal Maine, I made the return trip to Minnesota a five-day adventure—spending nights in Boston, Syracuse, Cleveland, and Chicago.
Acadia National Park is only 15 minutes from the place I’m staying in Maine this month, and I’ve visited the park several times. With 26 mountains, 32 historic bridges, and 45 miles of rustic carriage roads, there is always something new to explore. https://t.co/OZp2E7G99C
I’m enjoying November staying at a beautiful loft apartment in the woods of Trenton, Maine, a few blocks from the ocean and only 15 minutes from Acadia National Park. Read about my time so far in Maine at https://t.co/aMh4CSR7aS
