To deal w an emergency, PM invoked Emergencies Act. Days later when the emergency passed, act was revoked. Canada isn’t a dictatorship. Fox fools & CPC cacklers can say otherwise. But Canada is a democracy. Those of us who choose to live the real world 🌎 know & appreciate it.
@blackandlit1 I started my career in Gr.1 (12 years), then shifted to high school (same K-12 rural school), spending the next 15 years teaching both Jr. &Sr. High, the last 5 yrs w/Sr. high only. Kids at all these ages/stages are great, but unique. Each age requires different energy levels!
The opportunities we have created because our students have chosen to not write diploma exams. We have far greater insight into what they know and understand, and how that knowing fits into their world.
All this week and all next, @emvander and I have the pleasure of having 1-1 time with all the smart, thoughtful, and hardworking young folks in our Social 30 exam. Part of our exams are interviews, and we have had the best conversations with these kids.
