Fabulous day yesterday at @silkmuseummacc viewing their wonderful Middle Kingdom boat model! Also a lovely opportunity to meet @SamChannPowell, a fellow model researcher!
An absolutely fascinating morning spent discussing the intricacies of several boat models @McrMuseum with researcher Emily Whitehead - including those of the 'Two Brothers' from Deir Rifeh. So many details I'd missed! 💛⛵
A big thank you to @EgyptCurator for hosting me to see three of the Middle Kingdom boat models at @World_Museum and wonderful to meet some of the visitor experience team and chat about Middle Kingdom box coffins too!
