“Good day, Ms. Audric! Any chance for a spot at portraiture? I’ve been a fan of your work for over a year now since a friend of mine showed me your shop,” said a warm voice after the ringing of my doorway chimes. Pleasant and courtly, smartly dressed but loose enough for wayfaring, Mr. Theimer approached with hope, and luckily, I had a spot for one more. I’m delighted by his eagerness, but I hope my insight fails me now. Framed in bright orange hair and woven scarlet scarf is a deathly grey face, void of blood and warmth. Took me a while to shake it off; I wasn’t in the Mere anymore. He seemed alright, but part of me wanted to ask if he really was.
Rumours started like whispers in the wind until the winds became violent and started knocking on our doors, blowing through our windows. Blood was spilled, and the next thing we know, prices are high and shops are closed. There’s a wave of confusion in the streets, in every table, and in every home. I only gathered bits of information from the Guild of Fine Carvers, but things started to materialise in my imagination as the rumour turned into news upon hearing the story from someone who’s seen it all up close. A whisper so small grew so loud when it became the matter of the city. I thank the brave ones who answer the call to fight.
Wanted more backstory to Kheariv during her time in Menzo, it just so happens that the Grand Melee was a scene i've always wanted to do.

Standing out in a garden of flowers was a tall lady in a black flowy dress. Walking beside her was a teenage girl and a misty cat tailing them both. The girl looks up, listening intently, while the tall woman takes her time studying the flowers and demonstrating their first aid uses. It’s not hard to miss when their conversation goes deeper. You notice the time they start to walk slowly and the second the girl's tears start to run down, a brief moment where she opens up her heart. Even more than curing wounds, the tall lady was willing to take her time curing even a broken heart, the serenity and the sunset joining in the motherly embrace.

My studio’s finally moved to Carrd! Pretty spacious there with bigger walls, a lot more cabinets for storage, and a lot more room for ideas. I’ll still be taking some strolls here on X, but all details on Prices, Guidelines, and Studio Status can now be found at https://t.co/2jyKqNFYgs. How’s that for a slice of fried gold!
During break, I started to prepare my wet materials for underpainting. I tried to look busy as, already, I had a little smile on my face. We were three in the room, but the air was meant for two. I can hear their shuffling from across the room while they readied to return to their poses. On a quick glance, I saw him hold back, his hand withdrawing. There was icing sugar on her face, too awkward to wipe with bare hands. Nonetheless, she took it as a chance to keep his gaze.

I don't normally do pinup commissions, but this was an exception as it was for a friend
(just trying to temper expectations for the new people following me 😂).
