@FrodgePodge Courage is the closest thing to pure moral Good, always inspires even when the thing confronted seems small or not scary/dangerous in itself.
Calling a forest “undeveloped land” is such a strange way to describe it.
Nothing is undeveloped about it. It is an ecosystem doing exactly what it is supposed to do.
Being confident, having "high self esteem", is the child's feeling that he lives in an ordered universe, and no matter what happens mommy and daddy will always make sure you're okay. For tye child, it is feeling safe in the world, for the adult we call this high self esteem, high agency, confidence, but, it is really Faith
When dealing with a woman — girlfriend, wife, daughter, coworker, any woman — it’s best not to give her explicit prohibitions. Literally the very first lesson from the Bible if you think about it.
Imagine being pinned by a snake with a pride of lions watching, only to stand up and square off against the whole lot of them. Absolute main character energy from this eagle.
The strength of love is hope, because with it we eagerly wait for the prize of love. Hope is the treasure of unseen wealth. Hope is a wealth of security of the riches waiting for us. It is a repose from works; it is the gateway to love;

This is kind of strange to admit, but I'm in love with every woman in the world. I fell in love with a girl for the first time when I was 15. Then another at 18. Then another at 21. Then it kept on going. The interesting thing is I never stopped loving any of them. The only reason I broke up with them was that unnecessary drama levels got too high. I have a preference for peace. But I definitely never stopped loving them. Then I fell in love with a new girl, my love for the last one never diminished in any way. I can tune into it now. All I need to do is think of them and it comes back just as strong. I used to think love was something between 2 people. Or that you could only really be in love with 1 person at a time. But now, I can't see how that can possibly be true. I love them all. And as I got older, I realized that it's not about specific woman. It's that when I got to know any woman well enough, I started to clearly perceive what is lovable in them. Their essential girlness. You could call it feminine energy. You could call it the divinity in them or be more mystical. But whatever it is, I'm in love with it. It was never different girls I was in love with. It was the same energy shining through all of their eyes and speaking through all of their mouths. So I started to pay closer attention to more women, then I fell in love with them too. And it's gotten to the point now where I've practiced seeing the divinity in women so much that I can see a girl on the street or on the train and I just fall in love with her immediately. I'm just completely in love. Then I go see the girl I started dating and I don't mention it out loud, but the truth is that earlier today I fell in love with hundreds of women. And not only this, but I still love all the women from my past. And if she knew the truth she'd probably be horrified. But I can't stop it, it's like I crossed some kind of threshold where I paid attention so deeply that I can no longer unsee what is lovable. One glance and I'm in love. So I just keep it all secret from her and confess my secrets here on X instead
Witnesses of faith do not propose an ideology; rather, they reveal a faith lived out in daily life. Their credibility stems from the consistency between their words and actions, a consistency often maintained even to the point of the ultimate sacrifice. In indifferent cultural contexts, “the holiness next door” and quiet heroism become compelling arguments capable of challenging everyone, even the most distrustful.
