Corporate wellness isn't a perk anymore — it's a business necessity. A MediBuddy-CII study finds AI could be the key to shifting India Inc from reactive treatment to preventive care. More with Co-founder & CTO @enbasekar@Arundathi_Ram@MediBuddyapp
We didn't just build a platform; we engineered a system that could handle the weight of a nation’s trust.
Moving from one order every few days to over 1,00,000 daily orders required a relentless focus on 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 Reaching ₹1,500 Cr Annual Revenue and hitting profitability proves that when you combine 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐎𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 with 𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, scale becomes inevitable.
To our users, thank you for trusting us with your health. And to all the MediBuddies who built the infrastructure, hardened the architecture, and scaled the dream: thank you.
The climb continues until high quality healthcare is accessible to a billion people.

Back then, we held everything manually, routing info, coordinating care, guessing next steps.
With today’s AI, so much suffering could’ve been prevented.

I still remember walking into CFI for the first time, shelves of tools, open workbenches, and that feeling of “if you can imagine it, you can build it.”
This photo is from my first-year summer break, when our team of 14 was trying to build a mini UAV prototype. Weekends meant soldering wires, testing motors, breaking things, fixing them, and learning to think like builders.
That culture is what shaped us.
It’s where the seeds of @MediBuddyapp were sown, solving real problems with engineering, curiosity, and intent.
@iitmadras didn’t just teach us technology.
It taught us to build.
This picture is from those early CFI days.
In my last post, I spoke about how becoming a parent has been a 𝒋𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆.
That learning deepened recently when I held my baby during the first vaccination. In that moment, I felt what every parent feels — a mix of love, worry, and hope.
It reminded me of the 𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬, when we at @MediBuddyapp worked day and night to make vaccination programs seamless. Back then, it was about 𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘦, 𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺 — but above all, it was about 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒔𝒕. Parents, families, and organizations relied on us during uncertain times, and that trust was what kept us going.
Today, standing on the other side as a parent, I feel that trust in a new way. It’s not just about systems working well, it’s about the reassurance that your loved one is safe.
That’s why at MediBuddy, every line of code, every process, and every solution is built with one thing at its core: trust. Because whether it’s a pandemic or a routine vaccination, the responsibility we carry is deeply personal.
👉 As parents, caregivers, or even as leaders — how do you build trust when others rely on you?

Recently, 𝑰 𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒂 𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝒓𝒐𝒍𝒆, one that’s as humbling as it is joyful: becoming a parent 👶✨
The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of sleepless nights, tiny milestones, and emotions I can’t quite put into words. But what surprises me most is how much I’m learning, not by teaching, but by observing.
𝘈 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥’𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘸𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳. 💫 The way they look at everything with curiosity, with awe, as if it’s brand new, reminds me that growth begins with questions, not answers.
And then there’s perseverance. Watching my little one try to flip, crawl, or simply hold on a little longer is a daily reminder that progress doesn’t happen overnight. It’s built patiently, one small step at a time. 🐾
What strikes me is how closely parenting mirrors building MediBuddy. Both demand patience, consistency, and the belief that small, everyday efforts compound into something meaningful over time.
This journey is still new, and I know I have much to learn. But if there’s one thing I’m realising, it’s this: whether you’re raising a child or building a company, the real magic lies in showing up with curiosity, with persistence, every single day.
For those who’ve walked this path before me, what’s one parenting lesson that has stayed with you? I’d love to hear your thoughts.💭

𝑰𝒏𝒇𝒍𝒖𝒆𝒏𝒛𝒂 cases in India are climbing and when one infection spreads across a team, the impact is immediate: lost productivity, disrupted workflows, and escalating costs.
The real challenge isn’t just absence. It’s presenteeism, people showing up unwell, working at a fraction of their capacity. According to the 𝐂𝐈𝐈–𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭, presenteeism costs Indian employers ₹1.12 𝒍𝒂𝒌𝒉 𝒑𝒆𝒓 𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒚𝒆𝒆 𝒑𝒆𝒓 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓.
Now here’s the good news: preventive health programs 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐛𝐲 18–20%. The economics of wellness are clear. The ROI is real.
At @MediBuddyapp, we’ve reimagined access: 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 10 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬, anywhere, anytime. Because when health becomes a strategy, not an afterthought, people wellness follows, and businesses continue to build resilience and innovate.

I’m delighted to share that we’ve opened our second office in #Bengaluru, in the very city that continues to inspire our journey.
This new space is more than just an address. It’s a reflection of our expanding team, our growing aspirations, and the unwavering trust of millions of Buddies who believe in us.
Here’s to new beginnings in Namma Ooru — and to the same care, compassion, and commitment that define us.

Arsenal’s story has always been one of craft and vision. I grew up watching Bergkamp glide past defenders, Vieira command the midfield, Henry redefine forward play, Arshavin light up the Emirates, and Arsène Wenger orchestrate it all with quiet genius.
This summer’s signings bring the pace, creativity, and squad depth needed to win big — a reminder that in both football and leadership, the right additions at the right time can change everything. The EPL is a thrilling challenge: each game demands full focus and effort, yet the real challenge is sustaining performance across the whole season.
I’m all in — from the first whistle to the last, living every goal, every tackle, every twist in the race. The countdown is over, the obsession begins, and I can already see my Monday morning meetings kicking off with a bit of matchday musings before anything else.
I know where my loyalties lie, but the real question is… who are you rooting for?

But beyond the superstar, I’ve always been fascinated by the man — his journey, his choices, his values.
Long before he was Thalaivar, he was Shivaji Rao Gaekwad, a bus conductor with a dream.
No privilege. No shortcuts. Just a vision and the grit to keep showing up.
From those early days to today’s cinematic milestones, he has carried values that outshine any box office record:
𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆: showing up and putting in the work year after year.
𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲: never forgetting the people who stood by you.
𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆: staying grounded, no matter how high you rise.
You don’t need the spotlight to live by these values. You choose them in the quiet moments, in everyday decisions, in how you treat people.
Here’s to watching you command the screen again, Thalaivar.

Walking into the HTIC campus at @iitmadras today felt like stepping back in time — the long corridors, the gentle hum of machines, and the warm familiarity of meeting Prof. Mohanasankar Sivaprakasam again.
Years ago, fresh out of college, I came here with one clear thought: to work on something meaningful in healthcare. HTIC, with its rare blend of technology, hospitals, and industry, felt like the right place to begin.
Those months shaped how I think and work even today — from seeing ideas come alive on a screen for the first time, to watching complex medical problems being solved with quiet persistence. I had the privilege of learning from brilliant teams, observing innovation in action, and being part of projects that always kept the real-world patient in mind.
And then there were the conversations with Prof. Mohansankar — honest, challenging, and inspiring in ways that stayed with me long after I left these walls.
Meeting him again today was a gentle reminder of how these early experiences still light the path forward at MediBuddy. HTIC gave me the lens. Prof. Mohansankar helped me focus it. Both remain guiding forces, even now.

On Day 4 of the Oval Test, @mdsirajofficial dropped a crucial catch.
It felt like the match was slipping away.
He knew it was a game-changing moment.
But the next morning, he woke up and set “Believe” as his phone wallpaper.
Then he went out and took five wickets to win the match for India.
That word — Believe — hits hard
Because when things get difficult, when you're under pressure or out of rhythm, sometimes belief is the only thing you have left.
As founders, you’ll face this too.
There will be months where the graph flatlines.
Pitches that fall through.
Team members who leave.
Customers who don’t convert.
In those moments, the only thing that keeps you going is showing up again the next day.
Not with guarantees. Just with belief.
At MediBuddy, I’ve seen firsthand how far consistent, long-term perseverance can take you.
We didn’t start with a safety net. We didn’t have a playbook.
We just had a big goal and the willingness to work toward it every single day.
In a world obsessed with speed and shortcuts, we’ve learned to value delayed gratification.
To trust in the compound effect — where small steps, taken daily, build something powerful over time.
There were moments when it felt like nothing was moving.
When it would’ve been easy to stop.
But as the saying goes, 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨.
If you’re chasing something meaningful — a problem worth solving — this mindset isn’t optional. It’s essential.
To every founder, dreamer, and early-stage builder out there,
I’ve been there.
Keep going. You’ll be surprised how far belief can take you.
Your moment will come.

Some startups begin with a deck.
Ours began with a desk at the #IITMIncubation Cell.
No roadmap, just a raw idea and a real problem to solve.
What we got wasn’t just infrastructure—it was belief.
Grateful for the space, the chaos, and the chance to begin.#StartupJourney
You never forget the first time someone takes your ambition seriously.
We walked into Prof. @ashok_jhun's room with no pitch, no plan—just an idea.
He didn’t dismiss us. He encouraged us.
That moment may have quietly launched MediBuddy.
Thank you, sir.
