@PositivFuturist My disability scooter wouldn’t fit in the back! And if it was free they yes! But it’s not free, you have to put money up front and also pay for it out your benefits!
@WestminsterWAG Motability cars are NOT free! My daughter has one and had to pay thousands up front to lease it. She then pays for it out of her higher rate mobility PIP. Which is not paid for people with constipation or food intolerances…. Shame on you! Get your facts straight
@JoeCarr05014455 @paul43471534@upthecliff State pension is taxed from April. As the new pension goes above the frozen personal allowance threshold. According to my tax code I just received. Only a little, but taxed all the same
@paul43471534@DevonSameday@upthecliff I worked from 16 to 62 and paid my national insurance all the time. We were always told that NI was to pay for our state pension when the time comes. Then the changed the pension age to 66, so didn’t get it until then. This is NOT a benefit
#PoliticsLive it’s alright trying to get people off disability benefits and in to work, but how much is it going to cost to provide the services to support people? Where r the savings?
ICYMI: BACK PAGE of the @MailSport@MailOnlineScot ..A powerful and hugely important message from former Scotland international, @KennyLogan, as he calls for a nationwide roll-out of prostate cancer tests for men from an earlier age. Doing so could have a massive impact on the number of men needlessly dying from this insidious disease.
Please RT and read his story on why it’s so critical we take action NOW

@The_Deaf_Tribe @TommyShakes I use a lot of mine on petrol or taxis and parking, going to very regular medical appointments, and on help in the home. Besides having to replace equipment or pay for maintenance. Plus personal equipment/materials that are a daily cost.
@KateBMwriting Also older people with just a state pension, cannot afford internet, computer and mobile to do all this! And government are now talking the winter fuel away from them too….
@BBCSport The representation of the last supper by a band of drag artists in skimpy outfits, should have been banned. Shame on France for letting it happen!
@swinnybottom@Jenny_1884 No it’s not. They had the triple lock plus planned. Where they were going to put the pensioners personal allowance up too. Rishi kept asking Keir if he would do the same and he refused to reply!
