24 Hours of Art: We Go Again!

Will 24 Hours of Art continue in 2025?

Yes. Yes it will.

Context:
I vividly remember October and November of 2023.

24 Hours of Art began as an experiment in the Summer. The experiment asked a simple question. Would others find value in a report I had informally constructed for myself the past several years?

Oct/Nov got serious. The interest was there. The report was improving, slowly becoming the best version of itself. Was there a path to commit to it for 2024? A sweaty palms question.

The answer was two-fold. First, assess the internal fire. Check, it was burning. Second, assess the concept. That took more time and many dialogues. Ultimately, check, a 366 token daily ownership model with designs alongside the great Justin Wetch and Transient Labs.

Just like that I had my answer. Not only would I commit to 24 Hours of Art in 2024, but it would scale to everyday and introduce the Collective. That may sound intense, but the decision was the difficult part. Once it was made, there was only relief. As a past mentor of mine once said, there is nothing to it but to do it.

Fast Forward:
I vividly remember October and November of 2024.

24 Hours of Art shipped every single day of the year, with no exceptions. Each of its initial tokens were collected and a 300+ owner Collective rallied all year long, sharing nearly 30,000 messages and 40+ weekly shows in TG. We scaled the Daily Reports to two Volumes of bi-monthlies.

Oct/Nov got serious. Was there a path to commit to it for 2025? Sweat returned to the palms.

Not only did I find the fire burning brighter than ever, but the future mission crystallized as clear as day.

We will continue. We must continue.

We will create the definitive Annual Digital Art Market Report this space deserves over the course of 2025. Built from within the culture. Accessible outside of it.

There is nothing to it but to do it.
