In today's market good luck for any kid trying to get they're mom or dad to buy them a console let alone the next gen consoles that have yet to be announced. Consoles get more exp not cheaper now.

@valvesoftware Just like the 1gen Steam Machine this isnt going to make a blimp on the radar. There goes the hopes of a kernel being developed to allow Steam OS to function with Anticheat game. The users this brings in wont move that needle.

@valvesoftware Im a big fan of everything valve wasnt going to buy one cause I have 3 PCs. 2 Labtops and 1 handheld. But not subsidizing the cost is a missed opportunity. Would have brought millions of people into the steam ecosystem and you would have made your money back and some on fees.
