Sardar Davinder Singh breathed his last on August 27th 1992 at the age of 66, his funeral took place on September 5th 1992.

So revered was Sardar Parmar in the Sikh Community that a funeral procession was carried out from the Singh Sabha Park Avenue Gurdwara to the Singh Sabha Havelock Road Gurdwara with Sikhs openly brandishing their swords in front of the procession as a sign of respect for a noble leader of this righteous cause.
