the photo of one year old brian in his mom’s arms was the first thing mark lee, his sponsor, ever saw of him.

they’ve never met in person yet. they’ve only exchanged letters, looked at photos, and heard updates about each other.

but in the meantime, mark’s name became someone brian thinks of once a day, someone he prays for before going to sleep, and someone he hopes to become best friends with someday. 🙏🏻

and that’s how a song was born from that name.

when they said the title of mark’s new song was brian, that was all they needed to say. 😭
