(The sad thing is that Tweetdeck was actually worth paying a subscription for, but not the new awful one with no features or configuration options, and not if someone's going to stick a blue checkmark on my account.)

And this is on Tweetdeck so I can't really blame it on "the algorithm" as would be the traditional scapegoat. I need to do a careful investigation of every source I follow and cross-reference ... eh, screw it.

It might be my imagination, but in the last few months a lot of liberal opinions have basically disappeared from Twitter, which means my carefully-curated-and-balanced news and politics timeline now seems to lean a lot more conservative. Sort of a self-fulfilling prophecy.
