Give us this day our daily trail.™ We're @kerrianne & @norsedeuce, & #Endless_Trails is our Northwest 501(c)3 nonprofit for trails. Let's do trail work!
It’s raining. The air is awesome. We have a fantastic crew of stalwart runners who have been cruising on brutally beautiful trails for over an hour.
We also have some great, cozy costumes happening at the start/finish, per usual.

T-minus one week until our biggest #SasquatchShuffle races yet! More info + registration (we’re close to selling out!): https://t.co/j7JhNMI1CM
Our events are low impact, boast less than one full bag of trash per race, & all proceeds go back to local trails, as always. 👣
@itsmartin Hey, Martin! We appreciate the support, truly, & we’ve always enjoyed seeing you at events over the years. That said, it’s not our first rodeo with this sort of behavior from “leaders” in this community, and we’ve learned the hard way that things don’t get better in the dark.
So hey, this is the RD of the #Plain100 dragging us for taking #Carkeek12hr virtual this October—a race where 100% of proceeds GO BACK TO LOCAL TRAILS (just like every single race we organize).
Not an email we expected to receive, & not one we’re going to keep quiet about. ✌🏼
Meanwhile, another email in our inbox—this one from a Seattle physician—reinforcing what we knew in our guts: That the call to take our beloved #Carkeek12hr virtual for another year is absolutely the right one.
@catscortex Real gem. We’re feeling pretty damn inspired tonight.
We’re also feeling 100% over keeping quiet when people act like total creeps. That ship has sailed, buddy.
When it comes to Covid protocols and our races, we’re always going to lean into lessening community burden vs. pleasing people who care more about themselves than they do their communities. Full stop.
The email we just received from an ICU doctor thanking us for turning Carkeek into a virtual event this year makes all the shitty emails we’ve received from anti-vaxxers 100% worth it.
When I started this week I didn't think I was going to end it being quoted in a New York Times article alongside amazing humans & orgs—a NYT article that also links to our beloved @endless_trails.

2021, you sure are shaping up to be a wild ride.
Oh hey, we have two upcoming fundraising trail events in April & June. Registration is open & affordably priced, & all proceeds go back to NW trails.
