y’all, the thing that scares me the most about all this ariana hatred is how perfectly it illustrates the way people seem to have stopped thinking for themselves and how easily they’ll believe and repeat things without ever questioning where they came from.

someone says “she acts like a child” once, and suddenly that becomes the lens through which everything she does is interpreted. even the most normal, harmless things will be picked apart and used as “proof” that she’s childish. then you go into the comments and see dozens of people repeating the exact same thing, not because they’ve actually formed that opinion themselves, but simply because they’ve seen someone else say it first. no actual reasoning, no context, no source just a claim that gets repeated so many times that people start treating it like a fact.
