Rainmaker just produced ~19M gallons of water in Alaska via next-gen cloud seeding over 3 hours of operations.
We are the first company to provably produce precipitation in Alaska. As promised, we’ve linked our white paper and relevant data.
In the future, Rainmaker will protect and restore glaciers with man-made snowfall.
Immediately, this demonstration shows how Rainmaker will add new water to the Colorado River and Great Salt Lake in the coming months.
We turned around this analysis and white paper just a couple days after operating. There are many data sources I want to deepen our understanding of the atmosphere and increase our provable production; we’re building the instruments to collect that data in subsequent operations. But at Rainmaker, we won’t tout LOIs, simulations, or lab tests. What matters is physically measuring that you’ve affected the atmosphere; proving that we’ve produced water. We prefer sharing only the tech that has proven to make more water for farms, industries, and ecosystems in need.
Expect a regular cadence of these from us as we build the best atmospheric science lab in the world. Feedback is welcome in the interim.
Rainmaker Century.

Jensen Huang was 40 in 2003 and held 25% of a $10 billion market.
Someone asked him how he spends his time.
“Not sleeping is a good choice. It creates more time when you don’t sleep.”
He walks into the office and tells his admin to wipe the calendar, because a CEO’s day belongs to everyone else and he takes it back by force.
Then he goes and finds customers, not to sell them anything but to ask what NVIDIA is getting wrong.
The rest of it he spends in the cafeteria at lunch and dinner, and people kept telling him it was strange for a CEO to eat with everyone.
He said you can’t set a culture through CNN or a magazine profile, so it moves 1 person at a time.
Then the question turned to competition and he named Intel, Sony, and ATI in Canada.
And then he said the obvious ones were not the problem.
The company that would hurt NVIDIA was still sitting in a classroom, in ideas nobody had found yet, in a change in what people care about.
9 years later 2 grad students trained AlexNet on 2 GTX 580 gaming cards and dropped the ImageNet error rate to 15.3%.
Both of them were in school in 2003.
They didn’t kill NVIDIA they turned it into a $4 trillion company.
He guessed right about the students and wrong about the side.
For generations, the Chambers St. station reflected decades of disinvestment in our transit system.
Thanks to congestion pricing, we’re finally giving it the comprehensive renovation New Yorkers deserve.
