@itsSamCollins when I first got sober my therapist reminded me that my brain will convince me “drinking wasn’t that bad and I could go back”. she was right, those thoughts happen often. but, it WAS bad and going back would be too. fighting back and resisting is hard, sending love and support :)
@PossessedOnyx my fiancé and I bought two beef gyros and a lemonade and he checked his card later and we were charged SIXTY SIX DOLLARS, this is insane
told my bf i’m currently in a ticketmaster war spanning the entire globe for the pilots and he said “those mfs really wanna see heathens live that badly??”
maruki definitely inspired me in a way, working in the field now after getting my BSW, not bc he’s an ideal helping professional but bc he’s a reminder of what can go wrong. while he has good intentions, as we usually do, the life of the client is theirs, and theirs to change
I was in undergrad for social work when I first played p5r, and though maruki is not the best therapist at all, it is quite interesting bc he’s what we all want to be. we want to be fixers and to be able to quickly change our clients life but you realize thats unrealistic
A gamer says he became a therapist after playing Persona 5, inspired by Takuto Maruki’s character
It took Nani over five years to earn his clinical therapy license and he credits the game for changing his life
