@LostArcNZ Universality is the way forward, ideally a UBI, coupled with wealth or land tax. Income testing doesn’t work because it’s complex, expensive and doesn’t gather important data (i.e. wealth) about who is not actually needy

I’m sad to hear today of the passing of Wilko Johnson, the Dr Feelgood guitarist and singer/songwriter.

I saw Wilko perform at Koko in Camden in May 2013 and the atmosphere was electric. This show was originally billed as his farewell tour

What is meant by "the economy" is the ongoing income streams and wealth accretion of the already wealthy. The majority of us are going to be made to do it hard(er) in order to maintain these things. Sounds reasonable.
