Dear @PHShriver and @ChrisMcKendry
I really respect you and love your work. That being said, I believe you made a mistake when commentating on Danielle Collins in the #AusOpen and I’d love for you to address it (thread) (1/4)
"A doctor told me it was simply something you deal with as a woman and I gave up entirely, trying to function through the pain," she added #endometriosis

@JonIEinarsson can’t even define #endometriosis correctly yet was approved as a so-called #excision expert by @iCareBetter, who owns Nancy’s Nook domain website now. Talk about a betrayal to the Endo community. Every #endowarrior should be pissed right now.
March is Endometriosis Awareness Month🎗️
Some of the most important parts of my job are to educate, support, & empower people living with this disease.
Here’s a great resource for patients:

Important reminder:
STOP telling people with #endometriosis to “just get pregnant” - it’s not helpful.
1. Pregnancy does NOT cure endometriosis
2. Endometriosis can cause #fertility issues and they may not even be able to get pregnant

Endometriosis awareness month day 2 💛
Symptoms to look out for. My symptoms started at 11, I wasn’t diagnosed until 21. Therefore if you have a teenager with these symptoms please ensure you take them to a GP. #endometriosis#EndometriosisAwarenessMonth
March is #EndometriosisAwarenessMonth!
This month and every month we’re advocating for our mission to increase #endometriosis awareness, advance research + educating patients, supporters, physicians and public about a disease that is still mistreated, misdiagnosed & little known.
The general public needs to better understand that endometriosis, among other chronic illnesses, affects your entire body! And I’m not just referring to having actual lesions outside of your pelvic area. It’s every little thing.
(1/5) 🧵
It worries me that people think pregnancy and hysterectomies cure #endometriosis, we’ve spoken so much publicly in the media and elsewhere. Why do SOME (not all) medical professionals believe this still and the public? Scary!
Do I have a cyst or is my endometriosis pain just super bad in my bottom left quadrant for some reason?: the musical
If it is a cyst, is it rupturing?: the sequel
If your doctor handed you a brochure/pamphlet about endometriosis at the time of your diagnosis, what is a topic you’d like to see covered on it?
For instance, how to cope with chronic pain, how endo can affect body image, etc.
