Really screwy shit w Twitter following the #followbackparty. Had to uninstall app from my phone. Now not recognizing my email & alternatively stating it's already registered. May be off for a bit or up w a new profile. Not giving up. #Resist
Oh ffs. Long story short, my daughter has a Samhain spider that comes out every yr, leaves her messages. This yr, we decided Spidey could stay all yr. Artemis, smart & nuts kitten ALSO loves spider & boxes. 100% swear I did not stage any part of this pic. Spidey was 5 ft away.
Normally I'd be shit faced drunk this eve as I do the last 4 yrs since divorce decree stated kids would be in the den of drunk potheads w no sober eyes on (yeah, the irony isn't lost on me, lol). But this year I didn't feel so alone & miserable. Thank you #FBR
Daughter left this eve for annual 5 day trip out of state w her father & his family. I usually get very morose, depressed, panicky for her well-being, although I hope she has a blast. Am very grateful, this year, for the fun distraction the #FollowBackResistance gave.
And for those ppl in #TheResistance complain about the @'s, (btw, I don't @ folks often, if ever) stop being a pretentious twatwaffle. Your time is not more valuable than anyone else. Xxoo
If you're @'ing me in good conscience bc you think I'd love what you have to say after reading my profile and/or being familiar w me, to you I say, THANK YOU. It feels great to be included in something larger than just myself on TW. If you're #Resist, #BLM, #ANTIFA: <3
Mini thread: Still relatively new to TW, but going to throw this out there after seeing so many complain abt @'s, being restrictive, choosy, feeds blowing up, etc...
Something that really resonated w me is that this movie broke away in *some* ways from typical Hollywood stereotypes of divorced parents & showed dad as a nurturing role model to his young daughter. As a society a lot of focus is on dads & sons, moms & daughters. Need to improve.
If you were born & raised poor white trash in a never ending cycle of generational poverty in a very rural and "backwards" small town, you'll see quite a few themes you can relate to.
Just watched #LoganLucky -- HIGHLY recommend. Not over- handed slapstick, excellent character development & acting. Several important themes, esp daughter-dad relationship. Refreshing to watch a well done movie w/out swearing, smut, gore. And written by a woman. <3
