EndoplasmicReticulum

[EndoplasmicReticulum @endreticulumBIO]

My job is to be part of metabolic processes such as synthesis of lipids, metabolism of carbohydrates and detoxification of drugs and poisons

[EndoplasmicReticulum @endreticulumBIO]

I only go to my job when I feel like being gentle and smooth.

[EndoplasmicReticulum @endreticulumBIO]

In protein synthesis game I secrete proteins made by @ribosomesBIO I give these secretory proteins in transport vesicles to @golgicomplexBIO

[EndoplasmicReticulum @endreticulumBIO]

I hang out with @ribosomesBIO a lot, but only when I feel like being rough.

[EndoplasmicReticulum @endreticulumBIO]

I am composed of a network of membranes, divided between my two personalities: rough and smooth.

[EndoplasmicReticulum @endreticulumBIO]

Hey.. I'm endoplasmic reticulum, ER for short. I am what people call bipolar. I have a mean rough part of me. But I also have a smooth side.
