I’ve been into fitness all my life & the most complete program I’ve come across in all that time is Wholistic Fitness. The best kept secret out there.
A complete Mind & Body program that challenges you to do your best in all areas & take your workout everywhere you are, everyday.
Finished the Dean Potter documentary last night. What an immensely well done series. Can’t help but feel his impact has been overshadowed a bit since his passing. I wonder how many more limits he could have showed that could have been pushed…
The Dean Potter documentary on HBO is unbelievable.
So intense. So Beautiful.
An honest, human look at a transformational artist/athlete.
Best sports film in years.
Picked up my section paddle of the CT River Paddling Trail where I left off in Windsor Locks. Turned out to be a fine day for paddling with a northern wind at my back all day. Lots of Eagles & Herons through this section. @ctriver_org@AppMtnClub@relivecc
@Superd3k I just came across it about two months ago! It’s now in my weekly routine for body maintenance. Biggest obstacle is the ability to do my full body by myself. I can get the legs & front of my upper body but very difficult to get the back. Maybe more solo routines will help folks.
Home Gym evolution...Pic 1, first day setup after moving into this house 11 years ago...Pics 2-4 the current setup in the same space. The Home gym is never complete 😀 @homegymcoop#homegym
Another old school book for the training library. Had this one when I was younger and early in my training life. Methods have evolved since then but still good to go back and review.
My latest FB marketplace find (Air Dyne bike). With this I have now converted my cardio workouts to full body cardio workouts (save for 1 run & 1 bike per week): Versa-Climber, Elliptical, Air Dyne & Rower. I also simulate the Ski Erg with bands until I can find one of those.
Another Murph in the books! Super pumped about my results this time around. Solid on the bookend runs with just under 10:00 on each and able to add an extra reps per minute to cut my rounds down from 25 last time to 20 this time. Worked out to a 7:00+ new PR of 41:20! @CrossFit
@NotLizBrody First thing I do after wife books the hotel is checkout the gym online and when we arrive first thing I go find is the gym to prepare for the next morning workout. Wife and kids sleep in and I get 2-3 hours of gym/fitness time. Best way to start a vacation day.
@micheal_ws18 A short 30 minute Static Contraction & Overcoming Isometrics workout. Some gymnastics isometrics & posing practice and then inversion therapy.
Stopped at the local Art Festival on a whim while visiting Saratoga Springs. Happened upon @DarkMountainArt and found some prints that moved me. Quite happy to find some art and support the artist. Trying out some layouts for hanging in my office.
Second hotel gym in as many days. Less equipment but planned to go lighter today anyway. But enough to get in some Core work, Farmers Carries and Elliptical. As usual had the gym all to myself again… @hotelgyms_com
