You either adjust your future expectations (and thus feel better on average)
Or remove constraints (thus performing better on average).
Predicting the future is a sucker's game.
An infinity of ways to be wrong
Only one way to be right.
Better to make it so that the future doesn't matter.
We are flattening the world
And it’s making us miserable.
We’d rather be anxious in a world we can manipulate than live with the uncertainty of the real.
