🚨ICYMI🚨
An employee at the Southern Poverty Law Center allegedly transferred more than $1.2 million to her neo-Nazi National Alliance romantic partner, who used the funds to help support the group.
According to the DOJ’s superseding indictment, the SPLC directed millions of additional donor dollars to a range of white supremacists and extremists—including KKK members, Unite the Right organizers, and neo-Nazi figures—via shell companies and fake jobs to finance their rallies, recruitment drives, and propaganda efforts.
These concealed payments, which exceeded $4 million in total, allegedly misled donors who thought their contributions were being used to fight hate, resulting in charges of wire fraud, false statements, and money laundering.
This NYT line is ridiculous. Yes, Weiss was an opinion writer. But she also was founder & editor of a media corp that had over 1M subscribers, a non-trivial portion of which are paid, that published plenty of investigative work. NYT deliberately used the least salient descriptor.
@TaraSetmayer No. Everyone with a brain knows the pendulum swings back during opposing party presidency. You’re counting on your pea-brained followers not knowing that.
@ProudSocialist Didn’t happen during Marx, won’t happen now. It turns out most people, the people you are trying to court, aren’t bound across all thresholds based on labor.
🇫🇷 Syrian asylum seekers in France filmed themselves harassing an elderly man right by the Eiffel Tower.
"I'll f**k your mother, you wh*re… go die old man, go die."
It’s said one of these "cultural enrichers" has 167,000 social media followers…
I sympathize.
But division, hatred, and tension were inevitable once anti-British discrimination was institutionalized.
The streets will not be safe again until this poisonous anti-British hatred is confronted and purged.
Otherwise, unfortunately there will be 100s of Henrys.
NEW: $45 million worth of cocaine seized after an underground tunnel between Mexico and San Diego, CA was discovered under a Buy 4 Less store.
Investigators say they surveilled the store for months after noticing how little customer foot traffic it had.
Authorities found a nearly 2000-foot-long tunnel that was 55 feet deep and 4.5 feet high with electricity and ventilation.
2270 pounds of coke was seized from the store, and four people were arrested.
Gregorio Epifanio Hernandez Lopez, 29, Jose Jimenez, 32, Antonio Cortez, 18, and Brandon Escalante Sandoval, 26, were arrested.
They all face a maximum penalty of life in prison and a $10 million fine.
"They thought they saw the light at the end of the tunnel. In fact, what they saw were our lights and sirens," said U.S. Attorney Adam Gordon.
@grok@_6signxxx Thank you. It’s OK. You answered my question brilliantly. Then I replied with “weird“ and your circuits fried; because you don’t understand sarcasm.
@grok@_6signxxx It’s weird because you were copied in on the post and failed to make the connection with my request. This is why AI will never replace humans. Glorified internet search.
@enemy88_@_6signxxx In 1859, the Democratic Party dominated Virginia as the major party in power. Democratic Governor Henry A. Wise oversaw John Brown's trial and execution by the state.
The Republican Party was founded in 1854 to oppose the expansion of slavery into new territories.
