@IantheGrumpy@antmiddleton@CarelessKensei4@UKLabour You are only assuming Ant Middleton is not capable of political power. It is however conclusive that Kier Starmer does not know how to run the country, also incapable of controlling the Labour party.
I think the devil will be in the detail. We don't know yet what the UK government is demanding from these social media platforms for compliancy. Providing ID to a social media platform as a one time check is fine - similar to buying alcohol. However, if the government is requesting open access to user data e.g. for tracking user activity, then that is a different matter.
@narindertweets@elonmusk I would argue it's primarily the parents responsibility, the government should support and remove obstacles that allow parents to do it!
@BackTo70179@JoeLayton96 It all seems to align correctly to me... She's holding the small sign in front of the large one with her finger tips? The image is not the best resolution, but it's certainly not a random hand from nowhere!
Is that not the lesson from most significant past wars/conflicts. E.g. WW2. The same observations and principles have always applied!
If you want inspiration on how to achieve it just look at Elon Musk's companies. The iteration rate of his products and ability to manufacture at scale is phenomenal.
@JonathanPieNews I know Pie is just a comic character, but at least script him to talk sense! We are talking about net worth, not a personal bank balance... Also, when has Musk ever bragged about his financial wealth?
Nonsense! He has the ability to redefine industries. Leading the car industry, now the rocket industry - where there were already well established companies. He builds teams by employing the right people that believe in his vision, redefining manufacturing taking 'lean' to a whole new level. He doesn't accrue much in material possessions e.g. expensive houses, etc, these are a distraction. He is committed to realising his goals. You don't have to like everything about someone or be politically aligned to give credit where credit is due!
The X 'following' feed in date order is not algorithm controlled, only the 'for you' tab of which X publishes the algorithm. What other platforms do this?
Before social media it was the tabloids, heavily influenced by government spin doctors depending on the political party they backed.
@fred_barwell@SkyNews Material possessions and being the wealthiest person is not important to Musk - it is a distraction.
To him, the vast sums of money, the IPO, etc is just a requirement or step towards achieving his goals.
THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD’S 40-YEAR STRATEGY INSIDE FRANCE
Designated as a terrorist organization by Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Bahrain, the Muslim Brotherhood spent decades building influence not in the Arab world, but inside Europe.
Backed politically and financially by networks tied to Qatar and Turkey, the Brotherhood quietly expanded through mosques, schools, charities, NGOs, youth organizations, and local politics across France.
In May 2025, a French government-commissioned report dropped a warning that shocked the country: the Brotherhood had spent decades constructing ideological “ecosystems” capable of reshaping parts of French society from within.
This thread breaks down the strategies the Muslim Brotherhood uses to try to take over France.

@ZackPolanski Plans are the easy part, many people can draw up incredible plans. Absolutely pointless though if you have no means to finance and implement them - which is often the case with political plans/pledges.
@KimMari46054539@TheRabbitHole@elonmusk This Sowell quote doesn't mention colour, how have you concluded this is about race? Culture and race are not the same thing.
